As a child growing up in Hong Kong, Clarice had always been fascinated by the small, elusive creatures hiding in the crevices of the dense urban environment. They had inspired her interest in drawing. She had started learning Traditional Chinese painting when she was 6 and continued to explore different mediums and techniques. Now she uses mainly watercolour and ink.
Art is both a hobby and a form of personal expression for Clarice. Through art, Clarice has cultivated her sensitivity to colours and the relationship between people and the built environment. In 2014, she won the champion for the Wharf Secondary School Art Competition. The prize not only gave her an affirmation for her abilities, she also found an opportunity to explore her passion in architecture. She recently graduated from the University of Bath BSc (Hons) in Architecture with First-class Honours.
In her time in Bath, some of her works are exhibited and sold in Imagianation gallery in Bath.
